We cannot behave apathetically in the face of abominable crimes. We cannot slumber in a dull, stupid sleep that encourages those perpetrating the crimes. Through apathetic behavior we give wicked-intentioned, and possibly sincerely misunderstanding, men the opportunity to act as they do: to kill the unborn, to harm women, to wound men, to disrespect the human being by impoverishing , starving, widowing, and “mercifully” killing him. We become guilty when we do this. When we recognize what they are and what they are doing, which we do, it must be the duty of each man and woman to peacefully fight against it.
"How can we expect righteousness to prevail when there is hardly anyone
willing to give himself up individually to a righteous cause." - Sophie
Scholl, beheaded at 21 for handing out anti-Nazi flyers at the University of
Munich during the Third Reich
Pray. Fast. Take a silent stand that communicates a defiance of a grave evil, love for mothers and the unborn, and hope for change.
